Tessa Thompson

Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress, born three days before Halloween, 1983, in Los Angeles. She is a daughter of Marc Anthony Thompson (a singer/songwriter) as well as the grandchild of Bobby Ramos, an actor/musician. She grew up in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. She is of Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian heritage. Thompson attended Santa Monica High School where she took part in a variety of theatre productions. In the years following her graduation, she went to Santa Monica College where she obtained a degree in cultural anthropology.
