Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress, born three days before Halloween, 1983, in Los Angeles. She is a daughter of Marc Anthony Thompson (a singer/songwriter) as well as the grandchild of Bobby Ramos, an actor/musician. She grew up in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. She is of Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian heritage. Thompson attended Santa Monica High School where she took part in a variety of theatre productions. In the years following her graduation, she went to Santa Monica College where she obtained a degree in cultural anthropology. For her role as Juliet the character in the play by William Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet" as part of the Pasadena California production of the Boston Court Theatre.
