A glittering career sometimes hides many a sad story beneath. A winner of both the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current position after many years of hard work and an enormous amount of perseverance. Jones was the sole member of a family with five children who lived in extreme poverty. Her mother was constantly on the move and even been living in a basement church for some period of time. Jones was required to relocate to another school every during her high school years as a result of her nomadic life. Jones was forced to move away from mother in Theodore Roosevelt School in order to pursue her interest in track. Jones lived with four distinct families, which helped keep her study focused. Jones was awarded the Gatorade Iowa Track & Field Award for the Best Athlete in high school. She was involved in the orchestra at school, playing a cello player. Jones at the time she was going to college, was regarded as a top hurdler. In 2002, at the NCAA Track & Field Championship, she won the hurdles 100 meters. She was also on the team who was 2nd in the 100 meters relay. Jones has won hurdles in the indoor section at NCAA Championships both in 2003 and 2004. The track career after she completed her studies during 2005 Jones was able to begin training in pursuit of a track career. Jones won both the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track competitions during the same season.

Brandt immigrated from Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the at the end of her teenage years. Brandt was noticed by casting directors from her hometown and took the role as Naevia in the Starz popular Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Working with producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences through her performances and became an one of the series' most memorable starlets. She starred in the hit Netflix show Lucifer that had a six year run. She played the beloved comic book character from DC/Vertigo Mazikeen. Forbes named Lucifer the most binged-out show of 2021. Brandt's next appearance will be in the six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024 with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. She also stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in a mature animated feature that will be released on Netflix the 20th of July in 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa on December 2nd 1981. She is a New Zealand actress with a great talents. Lesley Brandt along with the remainder of her family moved into Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. The year 1999, in Auckland Brandt started as a retail worker, but was later upgraded to IT Management Consultant. After several modeling assignments, Lesley appeared in many commercials. The year 2008 was the time she finished her training in acting. In 2009, she began her acting studies she continued her studies using the Meisner technique of studying. The first big acting role for Lesley was with the New Zealand TV show Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt has shown up on her role in the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street as a guest role as a supporting character. She also appeared on a sci-fi thriller called This Is Not My Life which is based upon the anecdotal town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia the young hostage and featured later as a character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniature series in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
