Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best well-known as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Her stage experience began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Later, she appeared in several Broadway productions before she became a star on national stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. The same year, She recorded her first album of music, It's The Time for Tina. Louise's debut appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, a 1958 romantic drama. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for her performance in the New Star of the year category. In this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise managed to mix her profession effectively across Broadway as well as Hollywood performing somber characters opposed to her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her on the show as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in recent years she has also made her mark as an accomplished director on various well-known television shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on 29th of August in 1965 her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and then her adolescence. She settled in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
